The Director will work closely with internal teams to support the operational performance of our partners, from onboarding through their partner lifecycle, with a focus on performance optimization. The Director will develop and manage strategy, operational processes, organizational alignment, and performance targets related to Contracting, Training, Communication, and Partner support. They will be responsible for leading initiatives that streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the partner experience. They will also serve as a resource to leadership in understanding partners’ operational challenges and driving operational improvements.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with merchandising, business development, product development, marketing, analytics, and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for business growth and better meet partner and customer needs.
· Optimize Partner Acquisition and Devlopment: Develop and implement new strategies to reduce partner development costs while maximizing performance.
· Oversee Team Management: Manage four key teams: partner onboarding, partner operations, partner communications, and pay support, ensuring alignment with business goals.
· Drive Partnership Operations: Ensure efficient and scalable systems are in place to support long-term partnership growth and smooth operational execution.
· Enhance Partner Experience: Manage the partner journey from initial contact through payment, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for all involved.
· Support Legal and Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and relevant legal guidelines.
· Foster Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively across multiple departments to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of plans.
· Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners, ensuring alignment of objectives, seamless collaboration, and resolution of operational issues.
· Contract Negotiation & Management: Support the negotiation, creation, and management of contracts with key vendors and partners to ensure favorable terms and compliance with business objectives.
· Partner Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor and partner performance, ensuring that all partners meet agreed-upon targets and standards.
· Partner Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs to partners to ensure they are fully equipped to manage their relationship with the company, enhance product knowledge, and optimize performance.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in partner relationships, operational workflows, and contracting processes and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
· Escalation Management: Manage any partner or vendor escalations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining positive relationships.
Job Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, business development, or merchandising operations, with a proven track record of driving growth and operational efficiency.
· Strong leadership experience with a focus on cross-functional team collaboration.
· Demonstrated ability to identify and execute growth opportunities in digital/e-business contexts.
· Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
· Excellent analytical skills to assess customer behavior and business performance metrics.
· Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead teams without formal authority.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
